Editor Pick – Flavor of Romance Editor speaks: Well, guys, the day started for me on a pleasing note, my wife gave me a good morning kiss much before she could give me some coffee. Love is in the air. And guess what that kiss turned me into a knight. Fairy tales I believe are inspired from such romantic moments I suppose. Speaking of romance, let us dwell into the world we all are really interested in– the world of cinema and its portrayal of romance. Romeo and Juliet, gone with the wind, our own Devdas, Laila-majnu and of course not to forget the city of love– Prem Nagar, well, love was shown in various shapes and sizes, in well tailored suits to rough denims, from five and a half metered Saris to dresses that can be mistaken for hankies, we have seen some glory and some guns all in the guise of love. The generations changed, the actors changed, the film makers changed but it is happy to note that the values of Love remained intact. Whether it is Raj Kapoor and Nargis in Sree 420, be it Chiru in Vana Vana Velluvaye, Love in the rain takes away the pain, our tensions are drained till our eyes rain, what have you got to lose when all you can do is gain? go catch a nice romantic flick with your chick, you can be on cloud nine and even the unclean hyderabad looks fine. Guys, just got a call from my wife, she is mad that I let the world know that she has kissed me. I was hoping for a night of love, but shaayad I have been impeached from my right to love. Well, no worry! I have the latest DVD console at home and even a DVD full of romantic movies….see you...
